Ed Sheeran has expressed his feelings after delivering an electrifying performance with his idol, James Blunt, during the Mathematics Tour concert.
On Sunday, the 34-year-old singer James invited on stage to a surprise.
After his stars’ performance with James, Ed went to his Instagram to express gratitude to the singer to join him on stage.
“I saw @jamesblunt when I was 13 years old and opened for @eltonjohn on Portman Road. I bought his album that day and then got occupied,” that Perfect Hitmaker wrote while sharing a clip from the show.
He also wrote, “My father took me to Cambridge Junction to see him months later, and he became my favorite singer songwriter. His songs cast me, his performance inspired me. I wanted to be him. I wanted to be him so much that I signed the same leadership as him.”
“I wanted to be him so much that I signed for the same record label as him. I sometimes have to remind myself how much he means and meant to me because we have been comrades for well over a decade. I am godfather to his son.
