WNBA Master Natasha Cloud mocked former New York government Andrew Cuomo when he released a video announcing his independent campaign for New York City mayor.

Cloud, who plays for New York Liberty, wrote on social media that Cuomo just “copied” Zohran Mamdani, who received the Democratic Nikk in the warmly disputed mayoral.

“Not your PR -Team copying Mamdanis,” the cloud wrote in response to Cuomo’s video.

Cloud has been an obvious supporter of the socialist mayoral candidate. She said in an interview with clutch points that Mamdani’s victory in the primary restore her “hope in humanity.”

“He gets the worst PR because he is a Muslim, he is a socialist and he is a Democrat. But he thinks it is the government’s right to take care of and make sure all its voters live a dignified life, no matter who you are, what your religious attachment or background is. I think it’s beautiful,” Cloud said late last month.

“I generally think it’s the right choice. But why it is so empowering to me is that it restored my hope in humanity a little. Even within the framework of what is happening right now in our government and in our country, the people will speak up. The people will emerge. And there is a lot of humanity left in this world for us to care for each other.”

As for Cuomo, he said he was “in it to win it.”

“Only 13% of New Yorkers voted in the primary in June. The ordinary election is in November and I’m in it to win it,” he said. In addition, Cuomo accused that “my opponent, Mr. Mamdani offers smooth slogans, but no real solutions.”

Mamdani responded to the rumors that Cuomo should go into the race again on Monday.

“I welcome everyone to this race, and I am as safe as I have been since three weeks ago on the primary evening,” he said.

I think he is struggling to come to terms with what Tuesday meant, “added Mamdani.” We used a whole campaign to be told it was inevitable for Andrew Cuomo to become the next mayor and he thought it himself. “

Mamdani also trolled the former governor on Monday and responded to a photo of Cuomo filming his campaign video.

“We made him make a man on the street videos with a guy in Carhartt. Next week he sips Adeni Chai and eats Khaliat Al Nahl,” Mamdani said, referring to his own viral campaign videos.
