Midas, an economic tokenization platform, said it introduces two tokenized investment products on EtherLink, an Ethereum-compatible Layer-2 overlay system for faster and cheaper transactions, built using Tezo’s blockchain.
The new products, MMEV and MRE7YIELD, are designed to offer opportunities in decentralized financing (Defi) and are monitored by MEV Capital and RE7 Capital, each acting as a designated risk management, according to a press release on Wednesday.
The move is based on Midas’ previous products, MBasis and MTBill, which together have attracted $ 11 million in the total value locked (Tvl) on etherlink since their introduction. These tokenized certificates track financial strategies through the ERC-20-tokens, allowing users to keep exposure through self-defense, permitted-free smart contracts, while complying with compliance with compliance.
The new products follow a similar model. MMEV offers exposure to arbitrage and market-neutral options across blockchain ecosystems, while Mre7yield tracks diversified defi yield strategies. In both cases, investors avoid dealing with multiple intermediaries or regional rules by performing strategies through a single on-chain transaction.
EtherLink, with its quick confirmation times and insignificant transaction fees, has seen recent network upgrades, including almost instant withdrawal times.
What once required contracting through several layers of intermediaries, each guided by their own local rules, can soon be performed through a single smart contract call, said David Relkin, head of Defi at Nomadic Labs, a Tezos developer group working on EtherLink.
“Products like MMEV and MRE7YIELD finally make advanced yield-raising strategies available to institutional investors. We consider them an important step towards bringing wholesale financing fully on-chain,” the relk said in the statement.
For Midas, EtherLink provides the ideal environment for scalable economic uses, where strategies can be put together directly for lending, automated market -making and structured vaults with minimal overhead and maximum accessibility, said Dennis Dinkelmeyer, CEO of Midas
“EtherLink offers the scalability and composability needed to bring structured, compatible strategies fully on-chain. With MMEV and MRE7YIELD, we are expanding safe, self-defense exposure to institutional quality products.” Said Dinkelmeyer in a statement.
