In recent years, JK Rowling’s view of gender identity has collided with those of the actors who starred in the films based on her Harry Potter books.
Now Miriam Margolyes has gone into the debate by sharing his opinion on the matter.
Appear on A gay old time Podcast, the star playing Professor Sprout in Wizarding -Franchisen said, “I have never met [Rowling]And I’ve never discussed this with her. She is a very good writer and I love her detective stories – they are excellent. “
She continued, “I do not agree with her about the transcendant. I think her opinion is too harsh, but I do not like the fact that the trans community has reacted with such a rage.”
The actress who is gay, added, “It’s not good to be so furious. We should be gentle with each other. We are all suppressed by sections of society. Let’s just be friendlier.”
Packed up the discussion, Miriam said, “We’re not binary. We aren’t two boxes. There have to be many more boxes and we can jump into them if we want or not. But we shouldn’t be ugly with people who don’t fit into the same box as us.”
Her comments are the latest addition to the subject, which was elicited by Rowling’s position that has led to lines drawn among Harry Potter Role crew and fanbase.
