Here is a look at Reddit’s Down Detector’s page in the US right now, currently over 133.00 reported questions.

My colleague Hamish shared these shots of what the Reddit app on Android looks like right now in the UK. It seems that the most important website is showing a “wow, such an empty” message, and that subbreddit pages are loaded partially.

On the latter, the name and top beam appear, but then no posts are visible.

Reddit is now identified the reason for the problem and is working on a solution, and in a fairly quick way when the update was sent to its status page at. 12:06 A – shortly after the spikes in reported questions came.

The message in full reading, “Identified – We have identified the cause of the problem and work to tackle it.” It briefly stops indicating exactly what it is, but it is also worth noting that the power breaking primarily affects the display of positions and other parts of the place.

There are some signs that Reddit may recover, making this a relatively quick blip of a power outage. I am able to load the site again on my computer, both within Google Chrome and Safari, with the website populated with trends and individual subbreddits.

My colleague, Amelia Schwanke, Techradar’s senior editor for streaming and home entertainment, shared a screenshot of the mobile app that is still down, but notes that the site is loaded nicely on the desk in the UK.

Reddit has implemented a solution

In line with the site that starts loading again to me and some of my colleagues, Reddit says now that it has the fix is live.

It reads fully, “Supervision – A solution has been implemented and we monitor the results. “And was sent at 12:21 a.m. admittedly, it may take a little to seep out to everyone, but it seems that Reddit is about to recover from a partial power outage.

Reports about detector are far down

While reported Puitages for Reddit on Down Detector were over 133,000 a little while ago, it looks like the platform’s fix is working when reports have dropped significantly. From 1 p.m. 12.17 On July 16, 2025, 3,096 reported power cuts at DOWN -Detector in the United States, and only 296 power breaks are reported on the platform in the UK.

Reddit says all systems are operational

It is always a relief when power cuts are fast, and Reddit definitely kept its users informed via a status page and got a fix rolled out fairly quickly. The term of the service now shows the incident as resolved and that everything is back to normal. This comes as Reddit is usually loaded to me and most of my colleagues again.

Similarly, reports on reduced detector are gone far down, back to numbers that do not indicate a power outage or problem.
