Nintendo and Sony, throwing two young actors to play the protagonists of the Zelda franchise, is one of our first indications of what direction the movie could take. In fact, such a young role of role could mean that we see a previous game in the franchise, such as The Legend of Zelda: The Wind WakerAs the central plot in the film.
Of course it’s just speculation. It may be that there is still a chance that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Is the topic of the first live-action movie adjustment, but that would mean that we expect another link to be thrown as the character grows up in the game.
This first casting message also undoubtedly suggests that we could be waiting for a number of movies. Having such a young role herd gives the actors room to grow with their characters over multiple films, and means there are no problems like Stranger Things Now, with its role crew of adults playing teens in season 5.
Nothing else about the production of The legend of Zelda Adaptation has been confirmed yet, but we know the release date of the Live-Action movie: March 26, 2027. We can therefore expect more casting messages in the coming months.
What do fans say about the role crew of live-action the Legend of Zelda movie?
In the lead for today’s message, there were quite a few rumors of who would play Zelda and Link in Live-Action The legend of Zelda film. One of the front trunners to Zelda’s role was Hunter Schapher (Euphoria), but it seems that Wes Ball, who directs the film, excluded her by going for a younger crew.
In fact, going out of an interview that Nintendo’s veteran wastage designer Takashi Tezuka did with MTV over nine years ago, there was even a chance that link could have been played by a woman. “This is just personal, [but] It would be a lot of fun and amazing if link was played by a female actress, “Tezuka said,” a boyish female actress. “
The direction Ball has decided to take the movie in instead has been greeted with a lot of praise on social media, with many expecting a different quality movie in the vein of Nintendo’s last hit, The Super Mario Bros. -film. While some have expressed disappointment that Schapher did not land the role of Zelda, others say this suggests that the film will be part of a trilogy.
Comment from R/Gaming
Some users also seem to be glad that both actors are English as it offers some continuity in the video game – many of the voice actors are English in the series (except link, of course). However, this varies from game to game.
Overall, reception seems to be positive, especially as it gives fans of the video game who are excited about the live-action movie their first real indication of what to expect. Could such a young crew mean we get a Zelda movie trilogy? Does it narrow down our speculation about which video games form the basis of the story? There is a lot to chew on here.
