Gayle King was part of an all-high blue origin that went out into space in April. But her close friend Oprah Winfrey said she “would never do it.”

“I would never do it, but I became very interested in the whole process,” said the award -winning actor.
But she said she is “just so proud to be there for” king, and added that she was “relieved” that her bff who is an anchor at CBS morningswent out into the room, “Because if she had asked once again, ‘what should I do? Do you think I should go?’ I was like ‘you should do it from the start.’ “
Oprah also joked that she asked King not to “let Katy Perry come down and say, ‘it was really fun.'”
Together with Gayle and Katy, Lauren Sánchez Bezos as well as three others joined to take a flight to the room and marked a historic milestone as the first female crew for decades.
