- Some non -released pixel -phones have been viewed on FCC and IMDA -Databases
- Their presence suggests that these handsets are soon being launched
- Oddly enough, only three models are noted while we expect four in the Pixel 10 series
The Google Pixel 10 series is likely to be launched soon (now probably August 20), and now there is another sign of its impending arrival as three unpublished Google phones have been viewed on some official databases.
Xpertpick (via notebookcheck) has seen lists for these devices on both the US FCC (Federal Communications Commission) database and a database for Singaporean IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority).
These kinds of databases are places where phones must be displayed before they are launched and the lists usually appear quite soon before the handsets are advertised. So the look of these pixels here suggests that we may be just weeks away from the arrival of the Pixel 10 series.
Mentioned with model number
It is worth noting that the units are not mentioned by name. Instead, they get model numbers, with a device assumed to be Pixel 10, which is mostly listed as GK2MP, Pixel 10 Pro mostly listed as Gehn3, and Pixel 10 Pro XL listed mostly as G45RY.
We say “mostly” because there are other model numbers as well, but Xpertpick thinks these are only variants of the phones above.
However, it is interesting that there are apparently only three different models listed here, considering that we expect four Pixel 10 models, with Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which is also likely to be in the mixture. We still would not read much about its absence as we have not seen other indications that this is not being launched or that it will land later.
We should still find out soon as leaks suggest that the Pixel 10 series will be announced on August 20th.
