Trump finds support in Redskins Push from HUD SECRETEARY

President Donald Trump received support from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Scott Turner in the midst of the Washington commanders to ditch his current nickname in favor of Redskins.

Turner was an NFL defense back for eight years. He played for Washington Redskins, San Diego Chargers and Denver Broncos from 1995 to 2003 before calling it a career.

He wrote a message in response to Trump Sunday.

“I played in the NFL and was drafted by Washington Redskins. Not ‘Washington football team’ or ‘commanders’,” he wrote on X. “@potus is right. It’s time to bring Redskins’ name back.”

Redskns chose Turner in the seventh round of the 1995 draft. He played three seasons in Washington. He had 106 tackles and five interceptions in his career.

Trump put flash on commanders and Cleveland Guardians of MLB on Sunday with two truths social positions.

“The Washington ‘no matter what needs to be changed immediately their name back to the Washington Redskins football team. There is a great clinging for this,” Trump wrote first. “Likewise, the Cleveland Indians, one of the six original baseball teams, are with a stored past.

“Our great Indian people, in massive numbers, want this to happen. Their heritage and prestige are systematically taken away from them. The times are different now than they were three or four years ago. We are a country of passion and common sense. Owners, get it done !!!”

Then he threatened to put the commander’s agreement to take over the old RFK Stadium site in danger if they did not return to the name.

Super Bowl Champ says he would ask Trump to help get Redskin’s nickname back

“My statement about Washington Redskins is completely blown up, but only in a very positive way,” Trump wrote in another truth’s social post. “I may be able to limit them that if they do not change the name back to the original ‘Washington Redskins’, and get rid of the ridiculous moniker,’ Washington commanders, ‘I will not make a deal for them to build a stadium in Washington. The team would be much more valuable and the deal would be more exciting for everyone.’

Daniel Snyder changed Washington’s team name from Washington Redskins to the Washington football team before the beginning of the 2020 season in the middle of a summer with racial tensions. The team eventually became the Washington commanders, and Snyder sold the team to Josh Harris.

Pakinomist Digital reached the commanders for comment. Harris has made it clear that he has no intention of changing the nickname again.

Harris said on Pakinomist Channel’s “Special Report” in April that the team would not bring the Redskins name back even with plans to build a new stadium in Washington, DC

“The Commander’s name has actually taken on a fantastic form of element in our building,” replied Harris on Bret Baier’s questions about the Redskins name coming back as part of this new stadium agreement. “So the people who certain types of players who are hard, the love football are delegated command and Jayden [Daniels]is, for example, a commander and they are ranked.

“And you know, the business staff has come into it, and obviously we’re in a military city here. There are more military staff than anywhere else, so we are moving a little forward with the commander’s name, excited about it and not looking back.”
