George Pickens is preparing for his first season with Dallas Cowboys after he was traded there from Pittsburgh Steelers after a swelling 2024 season.
When the pickens got started in the camp, he expressed optimism in terms of having a “fresh start” with cowboys and had a subtle jab on steelers.

“I’m definitely excited about running better acting,” he said via NFL.com.
Pickens had 59 catches in 900 yards and three touchdowns under head coach Mike Tomlin and offensive coordinator Arthur Smith. He plays for the new cowboy’s principal coach Brian Schottenheimer and offensive coordinator Clayton Adams. Schottenheimer served as the offensive coordinator for Cowboys last season under Mike McCarthy.
He also compared himself and Ceedee Lamb as “Mario Bros.”

“Oh yeah, definitely. Just different types of styles of play,” Pickens added. “Many people over the years got different styles of play, but Ceedeed is a particular type of guy, then I’m a particular type of guy. So when you mesh it together, it’s like Mario Bros.
“We can definitely do something special.”
Lamb had 152 goals last season – 66 more than Jake Ferguson. Lamb’s role rose when Dak Prescott went down with an injury and Cooper Rush was left to run the offense.

Adding the pickens is expected to open the violation a little, which could only be beneficial for the cowboys that move on.
