There was a scary moment on the second day in Miami Dolphins’ training camp on Wednesday when a player had to be lifted to a hospital.
Offensive Lineman Baon Matos suffered an injury in the final minut’s practice and was flown to a nearby hospital where he was listed as in stable state, according to several reports.
The dolphins did not release any other information about the damage or his status.

Matos went extracted last year and spent the season on the training team. He was a college basketball player from 2019 to 2022 at both the University of New Mexico and the University of South Florida.
Then he went on to Bulls’ football team in the 2022 season and started as a defensive lineman before heading on the offensive side of the ball.

Matos was born in the Dominican Republic and moved to the United States when he was 16 years old. He originally played baseball as a child, but preferred hardwood.
Matos impressed on his pro-day ahead of the draft and drove a 4.88 40-yard strike despite weighing over £ 300 at 6-foot-7. Had he participated in the NFL Scouting Combine, his 40 gang would have been the fastest among all Linemen.
Matos is part of the NFLS International Player Pathway program that hopes to increase the number of players outside the US or Canada.
