So if you look at this photo you can see that it is not a good look for AOLS E -MAIL in DownDetector, but maybe the number of outbreak reports has topped …
I think a little sorry for small businesses when these types of E -mail -flow breaks occur as they are likely to lack resources and backup systems to mitigate for such power outages.

Interestingly enough, the registration page for AOL email still seems to be active …
I do not see any power cuts for cloud platform providers that may have an impact on E -Mail services and supporting infrastructure, so I am a little limited to how much I can speculate on the cause of this E -email flow.
Still nothing new from Yahoo or AOL about how long this power outage will last or what has caused it.
With so many E -mail clients and services, one might think that an AOL/Yahoo stream break could be glossed over a bit, but as a Downetector poster notes: “RIP. Cannot pick up MFA codes.”
So if you use such an email service to handle multi-factor approval, you might be a little fixed.
So why are AOL and Yahoo both suffering a power outage? They merged well to one company, so they almost certainly share infrastructure, which means that a power outage for one fire is likely to affect the other.
This user is not happy …
I guess that what we get to keep AOL as our E -mail. I’ve had it since 1998. RidiculousJuly 24, 2025
Things are also not exactly rosy for AOL, with answers to the company’s X account, which notes that the power breaking is somewhat widespread in the states and affects different units.
There is a little bit of inconsistency in how the power breaking seems to affect Yahoo Mail users, with some who say they can log in to their e -mail but get no messages, while others notice that they cannot accrybs any of their e -mails with error messages that are thrown up.
Likewise, and a bit like me, some people have expressed bias that people still use Yahoo -e -Mail …
As one would expect, there is not very friendly atmosphere for Yahoo on X, with a user noticing, “Yahoo -e -Mail is so unreliable. Time to find something better and it shouldn’t be too hard.”

The same could be said for Yahoo Mail in the UK, although it seems that reports of problems about problems could be declining.
In the UK there was an increase in AOL breaking reports that again related to E emails, but the power interruption seems much less; It could be down to fewer British users than in the United States.
It seems that this power outage was going on for AOL from around 10 pm. 10 et.
And there have been growing DownDetector reports, which would indicate that this issue is widespread in the United States.
Looking at the DownDetector report for AOL, it seems to have a specific influence on the e -mail page of its services.
“I’m in Alabama. I can log in and it shows that I have e -mail, but the messages say there was a mistake that picked up the goods on the list. I used Mrs Outlook and get a sync error to my AOL account. This sucks! I sell real estate and this is one of the worst things that could happen !!! said a user at DonwDetector.
It seems to be a day for power outages such as over in the UK, network provider EE is also suffering a power outage, which also seems to be lasting.
Yahoo has basically the same as AOL on X: “We understand that some users are currently experiencing difficulty accessing their accounts. We are actively investigating this problem and will provide updates as soon as more information becomes available. We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this can cause.”
AOL went to X to send it to experience power outage with the e -mail service.
