LEGO is debuting 9 new sets on SDCC
Of course, Comic-Con International is not just about the film and the TV show panels. The annual pop culture event takes up thousands of fans who are all done in Cosplay -outfits galore to attend exhibitions, presentations, screenings and more.
Before SDCC officially started today (July 24), Techradar’s CEO of News Jacob Krol got a preview of Lego’s stand on show stops the night before to see his latest series of new products.
LEGO fell nine new sets on Comic-Con 2025, including a fantastic brick-built game boy he got to try. This was revealed with Legos Batman Arkham Asylum sets that have amazing details and 16 mini-figures.

Five nights on Freddy’s 2 has an official trailer

In front of today’s panel to Five Nights on Freddy’s 2, Universal Pictures fell the official trailer to the successor to Blumhouse’s adaptation of video games.
Directed by Emma Tammi and starring in Piper Rubio, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Lail and Matthew Lillard, the film picks up a year after the “supernatural nightmare at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza”.
Five Nights on Freddy’s 2 is set to open in cinemas on December 5, 2025, and although it eventually comes to streaming, it is not launched at the same time at Peacock as the first movie did.
Why is Marvel, DC or Star Wars on SDCC 2025?
Some notable studios are missing from this year’s SDCC. Marvel, DC and Star Wars have all decided to sit out of the pop culture event, despite each having big launches in the coming months, including James Gunn’s Superman, The Fantastic Four: First Steps and Mandalorian & Grogu.
This means that we will not get any updates about any of Studio’s upcoming film releases this year unfortunately. The decision not to show any upcoming titles in Hall H is allegedly down to funds, sources close to the case allegedly told the packaging. “I think it’s expensive to go and hard for movies to really pop there now and move the needle. It used to feel like a must,” the source of the publication told.
Despite their absence we will still hear from DC Studios about the next rate of James Gunns’ Hit HBO Max series Peacemaker. The panel – which includes Gunn with John Cena, Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, Steve Agee, Frank Grillo, Sol Rodriguez and Tim Meadows – is reportedly set to show a sneak peek of footage from the upcoming new season on Saturday (July 26).

The last day of the comic Convention will host George Lucas from that time (the Star Wars filmmaker has never been in the event) who will talk to Guillermo del Toro and Doug Chiang as part of a panel about Lucas Museum of Narrative Art to be opened next year in Los Angeles. However, we do not expect to hear any updates about new Star Wars movies and shows.

It is another equally busy day of July 26 as the set -up includes panels to Bob’s Burgers Season 16, Live-Action Coyote vs. Acme, Futurama Season 13, Abbott Elementary Season 5, The evil guys 2, The Simpsons Season 37, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3, Rookie Season 8, American father! Season 20, Family guy Season 24, Paradise Season 2, Spartacus: House of Ashur, Ghosts Season 5, Peacemaker Season 2, Project Hail Mary, interview with the vampire Season 3, It: Welcome to Derry and Twisted metal Season 2.

This year’s SDCC starts with a party for the 20th anniversary of Avatar: The Last Airbender, followed by panels with the role crew and crew on Percy Jackson and the Olympics Season 2, The legend of VOX Machina Season 4Twisted meal Season 2, The strangers – chapter 2, five nights on Freddy’s 2 and South Park Season 27 on July 24th.
When is San Diego Comic Con 2025?
San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) 2025 begins on Thursday 23 July and runs over the weekend until Sunday 27 July. Each of the four days has a packed plan for celebrity panels, exclusive previews and interactive exhibitions, but the first three days are the most busy for movie and TV show messages.
