PTI’s Raja Basharat withheld card

Rawalpindi:

Former Punjab Minister and Senior PTI leader Raja Basharat was arrested and later released by police. He had gone to act for a right of suffrage when the New Town police arrested him in connection with the PTI Protest case on November 26.

His lawyer, lawyer Sardar Abdul Razzaq, police reported that preliminary bails had already been awarded Basharat in all related cases.

However, police insisted that they had arrest warrants.

Later, a group of lawyers arrived at New Town Police Station, presenting guarantee documents and guarantee papers for all relevant cases.
