Former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi emphasized on Thursday that the responsibility for initiating political dialogue not only rests for politicians, but with all state institutions that each urged to play its proper role in national interest.
In a speech with the media after visiting the PTI leader’s Hammad Azhar’s residence to offer condolences about his father’s passing, former Punjab Governor Mian Muhammad Azhar, Elahi paid tribute to the deceased leader and called him “a great politician” known for his honesty and integrity.
“We shared a friendship that spans 30 years. Mian Azhar is no longer with us, but his services to the country and the nation will always be remembered,” Elahi said.
In response to a question, PTI Central President repeated that political dialogue is not just the duty of political parties.
