- Kuycon G32P 6K Monitor mimic Apple’s design but enters the market without proven credibility
- USB4 with 100W power supply sounds promising for creators seeking a single cable workstation setup
- Limited retail accessibility raises questions about customer service and regional return policies
Chinese producer Kuycon goes into the hard competitive business surveillance market with a 32-inch 6K screen that is priced about $ 1,700.
Kuycon G32P is aimed at professionals who might otherwise consider Apple’s Pro Display XDR, which offers similar core specifications to a fraction of the cost.
The catch? Kuycon is not a household name and the monitor’s real performance and support ecosystem remain largely untested.
Impressive specifications but credibility is still in doubt
The G32P has a 6144 x 3456 resolution on a Nano IPS Sort panel provided by LG, which delivers high pixel density ideal for tasks that require visual clarity.
For those looking for a screen for photo or video editing, Kuycon’s spec -sheet is probably appealing.
It supports real 10-bit color depth, with factory coverage of 99% DCI-P3 and 99% SRGB, and a contrast ratio assessed at 2000: 1.
The 500-nit lighting and HDR10 compatibility brings it in line with most advanced professional screens, at least on paper.
One of the more striking choices is the use of glossy laminated glass on the front, designed to improve clarity and minimize distortions without using edge lighting or complex local dimming.
This approach reflects Apple’s choice with Pro Display XDR and G32PS overall design, including its anodized aluminum building and thermally optimized rear, nods clearly to the company’s aesthetic.
But while the G32P looks that part, it does not include a tripod in the basic price – instead users have to add a separate or chair on 100x100mm VESA mounting to use their own.
Connection is another strong point with Displayport 2.1 and Double HDMI 2.1 ports that support up to 48 Gbps each. The device also supports Thunderbolt 4/USB4 input with 100W power supply and two USB-C ports for peripheral expansion.
These features adapt to what is expected of business surveillance today, especially one that is intended to act as part of a larger workstation setup.
Kuycon also includes all required cables and adapters, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a calibration report that offers a complete experience outside the box.
That said, they eliminate attractive specifications and price ranging from $ 1,700 to $ 2,000 depending on region and configuration, no concern for long -term support, regional availability and resale value.
Sales channels are currently limited, with availability through niche dealers such as clickclack.io.
As with any unknown brand, questions about reliability, warranty and color consistency remain over time.
