Rob Lowe reveals naughty stunt in response to ‘The West Wing’ depreciation

‘The West Wing’ Alum Rob Lowe Looks Back With Humor On its Exit from 2003

Rob Lowe gave himself a funny goodbye when he was written off from The western wing.

Lowe, 61, turned to his 2003 exit from the show in a recent Tiktok, which was sent on Thursday, as he filmed in a storage room.

“So much has been talked about my problems as they were, on West Wing, as I love that show, and I love everyone in it,” the actor said, looking into the camera.

“The whole thing is good now, but there were some difficulties,” Lowe continued, who once received an Emmy nomination for his time on the series. “At one point they had written me from the show. I didn’t feel like I had much to do.”

Lowe, who played a deputy in the White House, communications director Sam Seaborn, then remembered a stunt he pulled as his character’s presence on the show began to reduce.

“And then I made these, and I sent them to all affiliated the show.

The Faux Annoncen contained a photo of his character and read: “Missing since the Christmas episode, 2002. Sam Seaborn. 170 Pounds. Eyes Blue. Please call Bernie Brillstein, my manager if you’ve seen this man.”

“I sent these to everyone,” Parks and recreation alum added.

Lowe was originally The western winglead when it premiered in 1999 and became the highest employee among the role crew. But creator Aaron Sorkin gradually changed its focus to an ensemble structure, leaving Lowe and feeling sideways. In Season 4 he decided to leave the series.

Lowe returned to several episodes of the show’s seventh and final season that was broadcast from 2005 to 2006, but later admitted in a 2023 -episode of Penn Badgle’s Podcast Podcrused That he “didn’t have a good experience” despite trying to “make it work.”
