Islamabad:
The Federal Minister of National Heritage and Culture, Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, on Friday, suspended a senior officer in the ministry over allegations of verbal abuse and physical assault against a junior employee.
Informed sources said the employee identified as Ibrahim and currently served in the office of the federal secretary – prepared tea for employees in the minister’s office. He reportedly gained access to supplies from the minister’s private kitchen after unlocking it.
During this time, Director Bilal confronted him and claimed that items including tea supplies had disappeared from the minister’s kitchen for the past three months and demanded to know who was responsible. Ibrahim denied the accusation and stated that it was groundless.
Director Bilal then allegedly responded with violent language and continued to attack him physically.
