A record -breaking audience will be present next weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway for the initial ‘Speedway Classic’ that will see Atlanta Braves Tage at Cincinnati Reds inside instead known as ‘Coliseum’, thanks to the Major League Baseball and Fox.

After having previously hosted an event outside the norm, Speedway officials are ready to break into another first for the historic place, as baseball fans will fall down on East Tennessee for this highly expected game that takes place inside a racing track.

On Friday, Bristol officials gave Outkick a tour of what would come next Saturday. While the day starts with fans flooding an outdoor party that includes a concert from Tim McGraw, Jake Owens and Pitbull, the real show begins when both teams go to the field for a showdown that takes place on Infield from Gigantic Speedway.

As you will see if you are attending, going into this gigantic place for a baseball game will surely blow up your mind if Friday’s sneak peek was any indication.

After spending the last few years planning this Major League Baseball event that will be sent on Fox, speedway officials have enabled the construction herd to do what they do best, which is put together something without imaginable.

Although I covered ‘Battle to Bristol’ many years ago that saw Tennessee and Virginia Tech Face-off on a football field inside the cathedral, I have to admit that this baseball event seems to have trace officials have intensified it a notch when it comes to expanding their thinking at big events.

Fortunately for fans participating, there really is not a bad seat in the house thanks to construction teams that have worked around the clock to make sure the grass is ready for the Major League baseball.

From the indoor batting cages, outdoor bullpen and insane setup, this really goes down as one of the most imaginative events in recent event history.

While the football game was entertaining, it is obvious that track president Jerry Caldwell was thinking a lot about hosting this event, which started when MLB noted that the track hosted a college football match.

Now, with the grass down, and the temporary bleaching machines set up, it all starts to meet for the exciting event. While track officials did not release the number of tickets sold, they told Outkick that this baseball event would be record-breaking when it comes to participation.

One of a friendly event on Bristol Motor Speedway for MLB -Fans

In addition to the action taking place in the field, next Saturday will be filled with lots of events for families and fans that include a tailgate party off the field before people start getting their way inside the huge stadium.

The concerts start before the game at. 18 on the Infield stage as both teams are heated in the beautiful field.

For the fans sitting in Outfield, don’t worry, there will be an opportunity to catch lots of Homeruns, considering that there will be no fence setup in Outfield.

It’s easy to see that all parties have spent a lot of money on putting this event together. While we didn’t see what the clubhouse looks like for both teams, they seem to be pretty massive along with the indoor pitching and batting areas for players.

If you look away from home don’t worry. The FOX broadcast has lots of interesting events for the TV audience, although Bristol officials have kept them quiet for now.

Be sure to follow the outkick platforms and myself for covering the event next weekend with Fox.
