Two notable things about today’s word search. First, I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many five letters that non-games lurk on the web. Secondly, a return to huge long tensions.
The yellow 15 -letter snake that revealed Vegetable Garden did not make today’s game easier, which is what usually happens when we have a long tip. In fact, it was satisfactorily difficult despite being obvious what we were looking for.
I found growth easy enough, but a lack of patience and the rich harvest of non-playing words tempted me to claim a tip. This same lack of patience may be the reason why I like the idea of having a veggie garden, but my talents lay in killing plants instead of growing them.

What is new threads?
Strands is Nyt’s non-new-new-more word games after Wordle and connections. It is now a fully expanded member of Nyt’s Games Stable, which has been running for a year and can be played on the new Games website on desktop or mobile.
