The Minnesota twins are likely to be sellers at Thursday’s MLB trading deadline, and maybe they gave their fans a preview of what it might look like.
In the days leading up to the deadline, players are moved at odd times – Seranthony Dominguez literally moved clubhouses between a double head Tuesday.
With the twins of 51-56 and 5.5 games out of the last Wild Card place, it’s hard to imagine that they don’t look much different in about 48 hours, and closer Jhoan Duran is anything but a guarantee of being moved.

Well, a camera caught Duran hugging Twins’ Bullpen -Catcher Frank Nigro during a game on Tuesday, which caused almost everyone to believe a trade had gone down.
Reports quickly mixed such a view, but it was either quite a wizard or ironic timing.
“He embraced Frank – as he always does,” a team source told Athletic.
However, it is rather likely that one of these hugs will be because of a trade – Duran throws himself into a minuscule 2.01 era in 49 excursions.

Duran, 27, has two more seasons with control after this, so the twins could definitely get a move. He has a 2.47 era over his career.
Reports have circulated that Carlos Correa, Harrison Bader, Joe Ryan and many other Bullpen arms could also be moved on Thursday.
Minnesota also placed Byron Buxton on the 10-day wounded list this week in the middle of maybe his best season. So it seems to be a question of when the twins won’t start making traits.
