Fo rejecting New Delhi’s up Sindoor claims

Islamabad:

Pakistan on Wednesday “rejected categorically” Indian claims made during a parliamentary debate on the so -called “Operation Sindoor”, accuses New Delhi of distorting facts, glorifying aggression and pursuing the domestic political mileage through provocative tales.

In an official statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the spokesman said the claims of Indian leaders under the Lok Sabha debate reflected a “dangerous tendency” to incorrectly represent the truth and justify one -sided aggression.

“Pakistan categorically rejects the baseless claims and provocative claims made by the Indian leaders under the Lok Sabha debate about the so-called ‘Operation Sindoor’,” the spokesman said. “These statements reflect a dangerous tendency to distort facts, justify aggression, and glorify conflicts for domestic consumption.”

Islamabad maintained that India conducted strikes inside Pakistan at night between 6-7. May 2025 without presenting any verifiable evidence or conducting a credible investigation into the Pahaldam attack. The statement said that the Indian strikes resulted in the martyrdom of innocent men, women and children.

“India failed to achieve any of its strategic goals. On the other hand, Pakistan’s resounding success in neutralizing the Indian fighter jets and military targets is an undisputable fact,” the spokesman added.

The spokesman also exempted exceptions to comments from the Indian domestic minister during the session and questioned the credibility of the Indian government’s version of events. “Instead [India] chose the path for warfare and aggression. It served as a judge, jury and executioner at the same time. “

On the basis of this continued spokesman, all allegations of the so-called ‘Operation Mahadev’ did not have any bearing on us, “added,” Is it a pure coincidence that the alleged perpetrators of the Pahaldam attack were killed at the start of the Lok Sabha debate? “

“The account given by the Indian domestic minister is filled with fabrication, leading to serious questions about its credibility,” the statement states. It recalled that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had offered an immediate and transparent study of the Pahagam event that India rejected, and instead chose what it called “warfare and aggression.”

On the wider bilateral front, the Foreign Office rejected India’s speech of establishing a so -called “new normal” in the relationship, insisting that the only acceptable framework is a grounded in mutual respect and international norms.

“As we have already shown through our resolute actions in May 2025, we will with power counteract any future aggression. For us, the only ‘normal’ in bilateral relations is respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity and compliance with the principles and the purpose of the UN Charter,” the statement reads.

In response to Indian accusations of “nuclear extortion”, the spokesman called the story “misleading and self -service” and said that Pakistan’s deterrence was based on conventional capabilities and led by restraint.

The Ministry also expressed concern about India’s decision to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) and called it a violation of international law.
