It’s been almost four years since Alexa Bliss last appeared in a match on Summerslam.
The WWE star will compete in a tag-team match with Charlotte Flair as they seem to catch Women’s Tag Team Championship from Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez.
Since Flair’s loss to Tiffany Stratton on Wrestlemania 41, she and Bliss have been carefully partners. Flair pushed Bliss out of the way for a spear from Zaria by Evolution and Bliss came to the aid of Flair during a Rodriguez attack on “Friday Night Smackdown” last week.

The two superstars hope to use their competitive fire to win the titles – and even call themselves friends in the end.
“It’s been a hot minute since I’ve been in Summerslam,” Bliss told Pakinomist Digital in a recent conversation. “So I’m really excited. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a roof. So this is really exciting and I’m excited because Charlotte and I have a long story and a fun dynamic and I think it will be a lot of fun. We’ll see what’s happening.”
Flair recently put his heart on his sleeve in a piece of the players’ grandstand that opens up for fan criticism and the notorious Stratton promo before their wrestlemania match.
Bliss was asked what was something that pro wrestling fans do not know about flair.
“I mean, of course, they know she loves the business but she LOVE This business, “said Bliss.” As if she loves everything knows. She loves the fans. She loves the matches. She is one of our strongest talent. And I think sometimes people get caught by separating the character from the person. And we always get a lot of hatred online – it’s just the company’s nature.

“Everyone has their opinion. We are instant yelp. So we don’t go to Yelp later and see the reviews of our restaurant. We get instant feedback about how big or awful we are. It’s one of the things you have to take with a grain of salt because everyone wants an opinion and everyone likes to express that meaning. One of the best things about the reactions – whether it is good or bad – it just shows how passion is our fan.

“I know she got a lot of boos, but you make someone feel something, and that’s the beauty of it … She’s just so passionate. She’s passionate about what we’re doing. She’s passionate about crowd reaction. Obviously we’re all, but I just think it’s something so nice to see how things can change, Things called.

Perez has been on a tear since she made her mark on the women’s royal rumble back in February. She took over as Rodriguez’s tag-team partner as Liv Morgan went down with an injury. Their first battle together was in a deadly way by evolution.
Bliss offered some praise to Perez for how she has appeared since she entered the main list.
“We have a lot of young talent that has come up and Roxanne is great,” Bliss told Pakinomist Digital. “We had a match on Friday. It was a lot of fun and I think it will be really interesting to see how it goes the roofing because she is kind of in the same boat as me and Charlotte. They were a little thrown together and they have their little things and we have our little things. I think it will be a fun dynamic.
“She’s big. She’s got the reactions and she’s been a really good bad guy who is always fun to work across. I think Summer slam is really fun and interesting.”
