The very first thing I saw in today’s grid was the word photo, but when it didn’t turn blue, I thought we should be looking for another art -based topic. Then I saw the word editor and composed the word word and landed the tip of the day.
From here it was a matter of thinking about as many photo editing words as I could and then finding them on the board. Filter and crop came first as they are my two most commonly used tools.
All of this has reminded me that being something of a grease -fingered snapper, the most important thing I need with my photo library on my phone is to erase all the many shots I have on the floor, my hand or inside of my pockets. No amount of photo editing can solve them.

What is new threads?
Strands is Nyt’s non-new-new-more word games after Wordle and connections. It is now a fully expanded member of Nyt’s Games Stable, which has been running for a year and can be played on the new Games website on desktop or mobile.
