I like WordPress. I do! What shouldn’t one like? It is free, it is used by basically everyone, so there is so much help available and it is supported by all the best web hosting providers. There is just one thing about it that I and others find incredibly frustrating. The side builder.
Thanks to hostings, this pain will hopefully be over because code, Hostings’s AI Management Tool, will be released with direct integration with your WordPress site.
Banke Knock. Who is it? It’s Code that helps you with WordPress
I’ve built WordPress sites before, but I’m not a site building expert that covers the best site builders like my colleague Owain Williams. My area is more site infrastructure (hosting, domains, that kind of thing), but I occasionally have a dabble in WordPress because I want to know more about it when I recommend the best WordPress hosting.
In my latest Dive in WordPress in my one hour of series, covering what it is like to buy and create a web hosting providers, I encountered many beginner WordPress problems after I bought and created a server.
The question I mostly encountered worked me around the WordPress Block Editor Gutenberg. Each time I wanted to remove a button from a template, change a title, or change how a side element appeared, I found that I spent 15 minutes trying to find a button and then another ten undo all the mess that the pressure on that button achieved.
Code promises to relieve users of these frustrations as soon as WordPress users need to be able to change and edit a page just by asking code to do it for them.
Code is not quite ready yet
Earlier this year, code was released to be used as AI Sysadmin tools for VPS servers that help users manage their environment with natural language. For WordPress Management, Code is expected to be released in August.
When released, code will be able to add pages and posts, edit the text and layout on a page, including adding new sections, replace images and content, plus management settings, plugins and many other site tasks.
Available at Hostings Business and Skythosting Plans
Code will not be available on Hostings lower end plans such as the individual site plan (not available in all regions) and the Premium Hosting Plan. This means that you will have to pay at least one extra $ 0.78/Mo in the first 38 months and then and extra 3 $ a month after using the tool if you did not intend to buy one of the more powerful plans.
In my opinion, it is a worthy investment if you, like me, are not very side builder -expert.
