Islamabad:

In a momentum against reforming the justice sector, a high -level meeting was held below the Presidency of Pakistan’s Chief Justice to review and improve institutional relations between bar associations and the law and the Justice Commission of Pakistan.

According to a press release issued on Friday, Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Yahya, shared insights from his recent visit to some of the most remote districts of all provinces where he assessed the State of Legal Infrastructure and identified key challenges.

Despite the availability of development funds, he observed that inadequate coordination among institutions has prevented effective implementation.

Representatives from federal and provincial departments are now part of the process to speed up execution and prevent the duplication of resources.

Highlighted the importance of Synergy, the chairman called on bar representatives to engage their members proactively and remain involved in these reform efforts.

He instructed that all state -developed support for bar associations is streamlined and properly structured to maximize impact and cost -effectiveness.

He also called on provincial line prices to remain actively engaged with appointed officers to ensure timely implementation of projects proposed by the district committees.
