Islamabad:
Pakistan on Monday unequivocally condemned the recent storm of the al-Aqsa mosque of Israeli ministers, accompanied by settler groups and shielded by Israeli police.
“This shrine against one of Islam’s holiest places is not only a violation of the belief in over a billion Muslims, but also a direct attack on international law and the collective conscience of humanity,” Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif wrote on his X -Time Line.

He said that such systematic provocations of the occupying power combined with reckless calls for annexation, imperil the prospects of peace.
The prime minister said that Israel’s shameless actions were deliberately inflaming tension in Palestine and the wider region and pushed the Middle East closer to further instability and conflict.
“Pakistan repeats his urgent call to an immediate truce, an end to all aggression acts and resuscitation of a credible peace process leading to an independent and viable state of Palestine, with AL-QD’s al-Sharif as its capital, according to international law and relevant UN decisions,” added Premi-Minister Shehbaz.
Separately, Islamabad has heavily condemned the provocative and deeply offensive descrration of the al-Aqsa mosque of thousands of Israeli settlers, including senior ministers, officials and chess-members under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
In a statement, spokesman for the Foreign Office Shafqat Ali Khan said that the presence and statements of the senior Israeli officials and the disgusting statement that “Temple Mount is ours,” is a dangerous and conscious attempt to provoke religious feelings throughout the world, escalate tension and change the status of al-Aqsa-mos.
He said that Israeli’s expansionist attempts are a conscious effort to destabilize the region and sabotage any meaningful path to peace. These provocations are at risk of igniting a catastrophic spiral of violence throughout the region.
The spokesman emphasized that the world must not be silent in the light of such systemic, illegal, inhuman and illegal aggression.
Such actions constitute an obvious violation of international human rights and humanitarian laws, the UN -Charter as well as various UN and OIC decisions.
He urged the international community, especially the United Nations, to take immediate and concrete steps to keep Israel responsible for his illegal acts and to protect the religious holiness of the al-Aqsa mosque and the rights of the Palestinian people, especially the right to self-determination.
The spokesman confirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the creation of a sovereign, independent, viable and coherent Palestinian state based on borders before June 1967 with al-QD’s al-Sharif as its capital.
Earlier, Israeli air strikes continued in Gaza, and the right-wing national Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir led prayers at Al-Aqsa-Mosque connection in occupied East Jerusalem, which causes condemnation from regional powers.
Ben-Gvir was among approx. 1,250 individuals who prayed on site under Israeli military protection.
The connection, known by Jews as Temple Mount, has a deep religious meaning – to be the holiest place in Judaism and the third holiest in Islam.
It remains under Jordanian depot, and a long -term agreement allows Jewish visits, but forbids prayer.
