Trump signs executive order to form Los Angeles Olympics Task Force

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Tuesday that created an Olympics in the White House for security purposes and other questions ahead of the 2028 Games in Los Angeles.

“America is a nation of masters, and by 2028 we show the world what America is doing best, and it’s victory …” Trump said by his press. “The Los Angeles Olympics are shaped up to be a wonderful moment for America … It’s a good time to be a sports fan in America.”

The task force includes Vice President JD Vance, Attorney General Pam Bondi, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, FCC chairman Brendan Carr, White House -Staff Chief Susie Wiles and Deputy Staff Manager Stephen Miller, among others.

One of Task Force’s highest priorities will coordinate federal, state and local authorities work on transport. They will also “streamline visa treatment and legitimacy for foreign athletes, coaches, officials and media,” Reuters reported.

“We will do everything needed to keep the Olympics safe, including using our National Guard or Military,” Trump said, threw shadow on “not very competent” LA Mayor Karen Bass. “This will be so safe – if we have to.”

“During his first period, President Trump was instrumental in securing America’s bid to host 2028 summer -ol in Los Angeles. The president considers it a great honor to oversee this global sporting view in his second period. Sport is one of President Trump’s greatest passion in a statement.

Earlier this week, LA28 President and President Casey Wasserman said the Task Force “marks an important step forward in our planning efforts and reflects our common commitment to not only deliver the biggest but the biggest games the world has ever seen in the summer of 2028.”

“On behalf of LA28, I will express our deep appreciation to President Trump and his administration for their leadership and unwavering support as we prepare to deliver the greatest and most ambitious Olympic and Paralympic Games ever host in the United States,” Wasserman said in his own statement. “Since we secured this historic option in 2017, President Trump has consistently recognized the size of our responsibility in welcoming the world to Los Angeles. The creation of this task force marks an important step forward in our planning efforts and reflects our common commitment not only to deliver the biggest but the biggest games the world has ever seen in the summer of 2028.”

Los Angeles has been a host of two Olympic Games in 1932 and 1984.
