Islamabad:
Power consumers across the country may soon receive another financial relief as a further reduction of RS0.77 is expected per year. Unit (including taxes) in duty in the upcoming billing cycle.
The expected relief comes under the leaders of quarterly customs adjustment (QTA) and Frult -Price adjustment (FPA).
The fourth quarterly adjustment for the financial year 2024-25 was submitted by power discounts to NEPRA, which held a public consultation on August 4th.
Based on the consultation, NEPRA is likely to approve a negative adjustment of RS 1.89 per Unit, which will be reflected in electricity bills in the months of August, September and October.
