Four martyrs as militants attack the FC vehicle in KP

At least four people, including three Frontier Corps (FC) staff and a driver, were martyrated when militants opened fire on their vehicle in the Karak District in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday.

The attack took place in the Aman Kot Towi area within the Gurguri -Political Station’s Jurisdiction as FC officials were on their way to field safety.

Armed attacks, placed on top of a hill, launched an attack, resulting in an intense gunfire and the immediate deaths of the four on board.

SP -Investigation Karak, Ashfaq Khan, confirmed the death and said that all four organs had been moved to the hospital.

Security forces and police quickly cut off the area, and a search operation has since been launched in the surrounding areas to trace attackers, DPO Karak said.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the incident and paid tribute to Lance Naik Mehmood Shah, Sepoy Shahid, Sepoy Rauf and driver Shahpur, who was martyrated in the duty of duty.

He expressed deep compassion for the deprived families and said their victims are strengthening the nation’s decision against terrorism.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur also condemned the attack and instructed the authorities to understand those responsible.

He expanded the solidarity to the families of the martyrs and honored the victims of the security forces.
