Cycling tracks planned for diplomatic enclave

In an attempt to promote healthy activities, Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to set aside land for bicycle tracks and a sports complex within the diplomatic enclave and immediately begin their construction. The plan also includes the construction of a modern, fully equipped event hall, the establishment of food chairs and the creation of different kiosks.

The decision was made during a recently held meeting chairman of CDA chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa in the CDA headquarters. The meeting attended the CDA board member administration and property Talat Mehmood, Member Planning Dr. Khalid Hafeez, Membership Technology Syed Nafasat Raza, Membership Environment Asfandyar Baloch, DG Resource, DG Building Control and Housing, Deputy DG Disposal, Director DMA and other senior officials.

The meeting reviewed development and beautification plans for the diplomatic enclave, including shopping and sports facilities, road infrastructure upgrades, horticulture work, environmentally friendly wooden plantation, attractive landscape architecture, improved parking events, modern lighting and improved safety measures.

It was decided to redesign input and exit ports, install CCTV cameras, connect the security system with Safe City Network and strengthen the surveillance mechanism.

The CDA chairman instructed landscape architecture and wooden plantation along the ways of the enclaved to make it one of the most attractive parts of Islamabad. He emphasized that upgrading the diplomatic enclave would improve the beauty of the capital and ordered faster execution of work while ensuring high standards. He added that all available resources are used to transform Islamabad into a well -organized city with international standards.
