Eminem opened around a central moment of his life that caused him to drop his pill addiction.

In his new documentary entitled StansThe Mockingbird The rapper talked about his overdose of close -up in 2007 and what led to his ending his addiction.

“I got into this viscous cycle of ‘I’m depressed so I need more pills’ and then your tolerance gets so tall that you end up overdose,” he began.

“I woke up in the hospital and I didn’t know what F *** was happening. It looked like I was falling asleep and I woke up with pipes in me and s ***. I would get up. I couldn’t move. After overdose I got home,” yo, bro, I need something, “he continued.

“I had this video that they brought me because I missed Hailie’s first guitar consideration,” Eminem remembered, referring to her daughter Hailie Jade.

“The amount of guilt as I felt, I cried when I saw it because I was like, ‘Oh my God, I missed it.'”
