Shelby Blackstock pulled on some heart strings while taking care of the loss of his brother, Brandon Blackstock.
Brandon’s 35-year-old brother went to his Instagram account on Friday, August 8 to share a touching tribute to the late talent manager who died on Thursday, after a private match with cancer.
It is relevant to mention that Brandon was the ex-husband of singer songwriter Kelly Clarkson and father of her two children: River Rose and Remington Alexander.
“Words can’t begin to catch the huge loss our family has endured. Yesterday we lost a brother, a father, a grandfather and a son,” began Shelby. “Brandon Blackstock was an irreplaceable part of our family – funny, bright and full of life – and he will be deeply missed.”
Shelby praised Brandon and said, “(He) taught me so much, leaving countless beloved memories” that he would “hold on to forever.”
For every valued moment we shared, there are so many more we never get to do together, but I know you are still there, ”he has written.
“Every hunt, every flight and in the everyday moments of life, I will feel your presence. And while it may annoy you, you will have to see me make it all a little better, a little smoother, and – let’s be honest – looks far more beautiful than you could ever in the process,” Shelby continued.
He ended the heartfelt note to Brabdon writing, “We will always miss you, Brandon, and we will never stop loving, remember and celebrate you.”
