Retired NFL quarterback Tom Brady returned to Foxborough on Friday, Massachusetts, the place where he spent two decades of his stored career.
Brady was ready for a statue-in-art ceremony before New England Patriots opened their 2025-Seasonal Slate and dropped the curtain on a 12-foot bronze statue in Brady’s resemblance.
The statue in honor of the seven-time Super Bowl winner was placed near the entrance to the team’s Hall of Fame on Patriot Place, sitting just outside Gillette Stadium’s entrance gates.

Brady became the first player in the franchise story to be honored with a statue. LongTime Patriot’s team owner Robert Kraft ordered the sculpture.
“Tommy, you not only etched your name in the NFL story. You have etched it throughout our hearts,” said force in comments during the ceremony. “And now your resemblance will be high here at Gillette Stadium, just as you were doing high, clear and laser-focused. People may forget what has been said tonight, but must this statue forever remind us what Tom Brady did and how he made us all feel.”

The ruting statue portrays BRADY’s trademark -party pose with the fist raised. The posing is not assumed to be a nod for any specific moment in Brady’s 20-year-old running with the team.

The face design seemed to portray a very focused Brady, which is an expression he often had when he played in an NFL game.
During his speech, Brady took a moment to give honor to his teammates, some of whom were in the audience for the previous quarterback’s special day.

“Look, I know what this statue represents. It’s not about a guy. It’s never, it’s never been,” Brady said. “And in football it will never be. It’s about a team and a commitment to be big together.”
Brady also couldn’t resist taking a jab on the New York Jets, one of Patriots’ long -standing AFC East rivals.
“In the end, this statue is not just for PATS fans,” noted Brady. “It will also give all Jets fans something to throw their beer on as they leave the stadium every year, probably in the second quarter, maybe the third.”
Brady is by far the most skilled player who has carried a Patriots uniform. He won six of his seven Super Bowl titles with the team.
Brady spent the last three seasons of his great career with Tampa Bay Buccaneers and won another championship with the team. He returned to New England in June 2024 for his Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
