LSU Tiger’s beginner, who runs back JT Lindsey, turned to the authorities when he was facing accusations that he contained two men accused of murder in his dorm room.
Shemell Jacobs, 17, and Keldrick Jordan, 18, were each sought after for armed robberies and another degree of murder in Louisiana, said Alexandria Police Department. The US Marshals service arrested both suspects on Monday in LSU sove.

The two were accused of killing a 17-year-old in May.
Lindsey was arrested on Friday at two accessories-after-facts to the second degree of murder complaints and released the same day of $ 5,000 bond.
A statement said that Jacobs had Lindsey’s school ID and was able to give the football player’s pin to give him access to the dormitory and that the two could be seen together as far back as July 24, according to WAFB TV.
Lindsey’s lawyer, Kris Perret, told the outlets of a statement that his client did not know that the two suspects were in demand in connection with a murder and that Lindsey has been firmly by his innocence.
“My client JT Lindsey has been arrested because of allegations of ‘Accessories after the fact’ for having allowed two people aged 17 and 18, who unaware of him was in demand in Alexandria, to live on his LSU apartment for a couple of nights that began on July 24,” Permet said.
“It is alleged that the two persons were in demand for crimes they are accused of committing in mid -May 2025 in Alexandria, Louisiana. There are no claims that JT Lindsey was nevertheless involved in or in any way associated with the alleged crimes for the arrested persons.”

Perret added that Lindsey is cooperating with the authorities.
“He did not realize that the arrested persons had committed any crimes or that they had been accused of any crimes or that they were in demand by the police to question when he let them stay in his apartment,” he added. “Had he known that the individuals were accused of any crimes or sought after by the police, he would not have allowed them into his apartment or affiliated with them in any way.
“Furthermore, JT Lindsey did not do anything at no time, nor any actions, nor demonstrating any intention of having, hiding or helping one of the accused and now arrested persons to avoid arrest, fear, trial, conviction or punishment for their crimes. He is pleased that these persons were taken into account by authorities without incidents.”
LSU said it was aware of Lindsey’s arrest and would not have “any comment from the respect of the legal process.” Perret said Lindsey was suspended for the time being.
Lindsey, who was born in Alexandria, was one of two top running backs that committed to the school in class 2025. He was ranked as a four-star view.

He was still listed on LSU’s list from Sunday.
