However, SPORTICO reported in June that Telfair did not succeed in living up to the conditions of his conditional monitored release. He did not live up to his judicial community service and did not report to the US Traming Office and is now ready to spend six months in prison over it.

He told TMZ Sports this week that the situation was “definitely some bulls —.”

“Trump, go into my story, and you definitely want to pardon me. You keep me in charge and want me to continue to do good. But I did too well to send someone to prison,” he told TMZ Sports.

Telfair claimed that the whole question came from a problem of paperwork and that it was “super unfair.”

He said that if Trump does not come through for him, he will be in prison and try to improve himself.

Telfair was among 18 former NBA players who were charged in October 2021 to get approx. $ 2.5 million by scaming NBA’s health and welfare benefit plan with a scam involving false medical and dental expenses.

NBA champion Glen “Big Baby” Davis received a 40-month judgment in May 2024.

Telfair reached a plea for an agreement in the case where prosecutors recommended that he earn between 15 and 21 months, according to SPORTICO. He was sentenced to Time Served and three years with a monitored release program.
