Bill Belichick is embarking on his first season as head coach of North Carolina Tar Heels, with high expectations and a dose of controversy due to off-field drama.
Still, Tar Heels players and officials have maintained the exterior noise has not caused any distractions and they will definitely be ready for their 1st September 1 -Matchup against TCU.

Tom Brady, who helped Belichick and New England Patriots to six Super Bowl titles, recently talked about what the long -time NFL coach will bring to the table.
“What they want to get is obviously the most prepared, the most hard -working coach I had ever been to,” Brady told Fox Sports’ Joel Klatt in the latest episode of “Big Noon Conversations.”
“If you go to that school, you will be prepared to play at the next level. He will teach you the right basic elements, the right techniques. He will have a high expectation for you and you will develop a lot. That’s what I know.

“I think the challenge for him is that he is dealing with a lot of likely underdeveloped players because he has treated guys who are four, five, six years longer than he usually has to tackle. Brady also speculated how much the student athletes will be able to preserve Given Belichick’s huge coaching knowledge. He noticed that they do not have so much time to prepare for a game compared to a professional NFL player.
Either way, Belichick will be encouraged to lead a team that was 6-7 under Mack Brown last year.

Tar Heels has never reached the College Football Playoff, nor have they been national title developers. The last time the team won at least 10 matches was in 2015 with Marquise Williams as the Start Quarterback. Before that was it in 1997.
