Three policemen were martyrated when the suspected terrorists complied with their vehicle in the Alizai area of the Kurram Tribal District on Wednesday.
According to police sources, attackers threw a hand grenade at the law enforcement vehicle before opening fire on it, resulting in the martyrdom for three police. The attackers also used rocket -powered grenade in the deadly bak team. The law enforcement staff was on their way to the parachute when complied with.
According to preliminary reports, attackers also took martyr weapons and fled the stage. The security forces launched a search operation in the area after the bak team to track and fool the striker.
Meanwhile, the authorities relaxed on the two-day curfew in Bajaur, enabling the markets to reopen and their daily lives resume.
After the relaxation, residents flowed to local bazaars to buy important items. Khark Bazaar, Inayat Kallay Bazaar, Siddiqabad Bazaar and Nawagai Bazaar were among the commercial nodes that opened their doors. Traffic on main roads also returned to normal.
However, in the light of the prevailing security situation, police maintained strict checkpoints on major highways and all entry and starting points in the district.
