US, China congratulates Pakistan with the Day of Independence

As Pakistan marks its independence day today, the United States and China expanded congratulations, with Islamabad-Washington bands showing renewed diplomatic and economic momentum.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio went to X to congratulate the population of Pakistan and expressed the appreciation of Islamabad’s commitment to terrorism and trade.

He reiterated US President Donald Trump’s intention to explore “new areas of economic cooperation in critical minerals and hydrocarbons” between the two countries.

“We look forward to exploring new areas of financial cooperation, including critical minerals and hydrocarbons and promoting dynamic business partnerships that will promote a wealthy future for Americans and Pakistans,” Rubio said.

His remarks come in the midst of improving bond between Islamabad and Washington.

On August 11, the United States appointed Balochistan Liberation Army (Bla) and its alias, Majeed Brigade, as foreign terrorist organizations.

The move coincided with the Pakistani Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir’s second visit to the United States.

Pakistan has long accused, among other things, for receiving external support and carried out attacks in the country.

The United States has also committed to investing in Pakistan’s sectors of energy and mineral mining following a trade agreement that includes support for the development of oil reserve and customs reductions.

The two sides recently had a terrorism dialog in Islamabad.

Russia

The Russian Embassy in Islamabad also congratulated Pakistan on his 78th Day of Independence and praised the country’s progress since its establishment in 1947.

In a post on X, the embassy said that people in Pakistan “rightly can be proud of their country” and extended desires for “success, prosperity and well-being” to their citizens who end with the greeting, “YouM-E-Azadi Mubarak”.

Beijing

The Pakistani Embassy in Beijing arranged a worthy flag owner chemony to commemorate the day of independence.

The event also celebrated the historic victory in Marka-E-Haq during Operation Bunyanum-Marsoos.

The ceremony began with hoisting the national flag of Deputy Mission Bilal Mahmood Chaudhary.

Announcements of crimes from the president, the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan were read to the occasion.

Messages paid tribute to the victims made during the freedom struggle under the visionary leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, culminating in the establishment of Pakistan on August 14, 1947.

It also cried the nation of Pakistan’s great victory in Marka-E-Haq during the war introduced by India from 6 to 10 May 2025.

In his remarks, Chaudhary expanded hot crimes to the Pakistani community in China.

He also highlighted the decisive victory for Mark-E-Haq, which was obtained during Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, and emphasized it as a testimony to the Pakistani nation and its armed forces.

He emphasized the deeply rooted Pakistan-China-friendship as a model for intermediate connections and famous the constructive role of the Pakistani diaspora to promote national development and strengthen bilateral ties through human-to-people contacts.

France’s Embassy in Pakistan expanded his “warmest congratulations to Pakistan’s people and government on the occasion of the Day of Independence” and added, “Happy Independence Day to all Pakistanis!”

TΓΌrkiye’s Foreign Ministry congratulated in a post on X also “Friendly and Brotherhood Pakistan” with his independence day, adding the slogan “Pakistan Zindabad!”.

The Delegation of the European Union to Pakistan said the EU Ambassador Riina Kionka expanded heartfelt wishes to the country on its 78. Independence day and added, “Together we celebrate friendship and unity because we are stronger together.”

UAE

Uaes Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, together with Pakistan’s ambassador at UAE, Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, participated in a collection celebrating Pakistan’s independence in the Dubai Exhibition Center in Expo City Dubai.

The event, organized by the social platform ‘Emirates Loves Pakistan’, attracted more than sixty thousand participants, including diplomats, government officials, business leaders and Pakistani members of the community from all over UAE.

At his address, Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan congratulated the Pakistani people and highlighted the deeply rooted friendship between UAE and Pakistan, based on common values, mutual respect and a collective vision of peace and prosperity.

He confirmed the UA’s obligation to its partnership with Pakistan and described it as a model of brotherly cooperation that contributed to regional and global prosperity.

Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, who spoke with Emirates News Agency (WAM), noted the decades of bilateral relationship between the two countries, strengthened through cooperation in economic, cultural and human development sectors.

He expressed pride in the sustained bond between the nations and emphasized continuous efforts to elaborate on ties through cultural exchange, economic cooperation and common community initiatives.

The occasion served to strengthen social relationships in Pakistani society and also reflected the diplomatic ties between UAE and Pakistan.

It ended with ‘Long Live Pakistan! Happy Independence Day! ‘.
