Peacemaker Season 2 is less than a week from premiere on our screens, and to celebrate its impending release HBO Max has revealed one last trailer that is definitely not suitable to see in public.
Red Band Trailer, released yesterday (August 14), is full of the cruel action and raunchy humor, we’ve come to expect from R-classified projects with DC Studios Co-Ceo James Gunn at the helm. Actually from mutilated bodies and several swords of words to an orgy that looks like it will compete The boys Season 3’s ‘Herogical’ episode of the amount of nudity appears, it is a Sizzle wheel that is best seen privately. With Peacemaker Season 2 to arrive on August 21 (North and South America) and August 22 (everywhere else), this is the last piece of recording-based promotional material that we are likely to see.

The recurring hit show first two teasers put this season’s multiversal elements at the forefront – and in the process did little to tackle DC fans’ concerns about his place in Gunn and Peter Safran’s restarted DC Universe (DCU). The last trailer of the adult-oriented TV does not ignore these aspects either, but it emphasizes Rick Flag SR’s persecution of the titular character-rich name Chris Smith-AS, Spoiler, killed the SR SON in 2021’s Suicide Squad.
Referrals to Gunn’s Superman Movies, such as Lex Luthor’s plan for the near world and the threat of Metahuman’s (read: superpowered beings), is also located in front and center. It seems that the action of PeacemakerThe second season will divide its time between the dimension known as DCU and whatever parallel realities its role crew discovers via Quantum Unfolding Chamber (QUC) – ie. The interdimensional storage unit found in the home of Smith’s dead father.

All in all, the third DCU chapter 1 gets the last round of recordings a lot of love from viewers. However, I think a lot of people have skipped over the fact that Peacemaker 2Latest teaser seems to spoil a big moment that can have a big impact on its history.
Potentially large spoilers follow for Peacemaker Season 2.
The last clip of the trailer begins with a four -eyed foreigner who seems to carry a dead, hairless role crew that opens its own interdimensional door to QUC. When it comes into this seemingly endless world, it sees Smith and his self -installed bestie Adrian Chase/Vigilante Burning … Something. Long Story Short: Smith asks gross stranger to leave, which sparks a somewhat fun conversation between Smith and Chase.
Now we don’t know what the couple is doing, but I don’t think they have an interdimensional barbecue. In fact, I think they destroy evidence that can involve them in someone’s murder.
Think about it. The duo is wearing aprons and gloves in Hazmat-style covered in blood. As we learned time and time again in Season 1, Smith only asks for Chase’s help when there is some kind of dirty work to be done. In addition, the official trailer to Peacemaker Season 2 showed Smith, who led the hunt through QUC as the latter bar equipment that is usually reserved for cleaning, as well as a tense showdown with an alternative reality’s peace champion.
To me, all this evidence suggests that Smith accidentally killed someone. My faith is that it is not just an ordinary person – in fact, I think it is the aforementioned peace champion.
I read too much into this single clip? Maybe, but before you reject the idea completely, let me show you part of the official log line for one of the best HBO Max shows’ next post: “In Season 2, Peacemaker discovers an alternative world where life is all he wants it could be.”
As suggested, this second Smith/Peacemaker’s life is significantly better than DCU’s version. Smith, we know, could become jealous, and whether it is unintentional or not, his multiversal is killing variant, allowing him to take the place of this parallel world Smith, which is what Season 2’s various trailers have suggested.
I assume we find out with certainty once Peacemaker 2 Launched with a two-episod premiere at HBO Max and more of the world’s best streaming services in the near future.
