Outlander: blood of my blood Have burst out on Starz and Amazon MGM+ with Al Vim and the Power of its predecessor OutlanderAnd we’ve only seen three out of 10 episodes. If you haven’t caught it yet, Blood of my blood Acts as a prequel to the main series after Claire (Caitiona Balfe) and Jamies (Sam Heughan) parents, from the First World War to the Robust Highlands of the 18th Century Scotland. They are separate, yet connected in even more ways than we are currently aware of.
As it stands, we have seen both couples fall in love and l into their respective time travel, but it is Claire’s parents that I am most interested in. Henry (Jeremy Irvine) and Julia (Hermione Corfield) have fallen in love through a beautiful written correspondence before they were brutally thrown back in time. They have been divided apart along the way and find their way back to each other as they talk about to rewrite the story in the process.
While I enjoy the hunt on Outlander Easter eggs (and there are many of them), I just can’t predict what we’re about to see in the next episode, what so much less, how the season will pack. But keeping one eye on the season 1 final is exactly how my mind works, so I had to ask Irvine and Corfield about it when I had the chance. So imagine my surprise when they told me they have no idea what is coming, and frankly, the reason is an incredibly smart movement from the producers.
Out of four potential endings, we have no idea what is released in Outlander: Blood of My Blood Season 1 Final
Look at
“We get our manuscripts while we film the block before,” Corfield tells me, fresh from the set of Outlander: blood of my blood Season 2. ”We are currently making block one and two [of season 2]And we don’t start to see scripts for block three until we’re almost done with block two, so you constantly learn where your character goes too. In fact, we have no idea what is really coming. “
Irvine adds the Stansen: “We filmed about four different finishes for season one, so we still haven’t seen which they’ve been looking for in the final editing.” It’s that kind of thing Rupaul’s drag race Would do to keep a season’s possible win a secret that films every queen crying on the runway with a crown a septer.
This means that outside the editing room, absolutely no one knows how season 1 will end and it is refreshing. Alongside my colleagues press chums I have been lucky enough to have advanced Outlander: blood of my blood Access, but that left us about four episodes short. In a time when we are desperate to find out what’s coming, you need to have all the information at your fingertips and reveal leaks and spoilers before they hit the small screen, a move like this is now the only fool -proof way to keep us in excitement, giving the water cooling moment that works so well for weekly releases. And for that, I overturn my hat with regard to Starz.
Obviously we can try to find out what is coming thanks to the seven existing seasons of Outlanderthat clearly need to cross each other with Outlander: blood of my blood At some point (especially if Claire is as close to the time for his parents as we think). But Irvine was not aware of the level of pressure that would come up with it until Season 1 began to be sent.
“Not until we started pressing,” he tells me about the comparison pressure. “We’re filming it in this little bubble in Scotland, so it’s very easy to forget that someone will ever see it. Now that we are promoting it, and we’re filming season two, I look at my manuscripts for season two that goes” Geez, I have to make sure I do a good job with it, “because of the fan base.”
Then there will be any real clues to hang on after the end of Outlander: blood of my blood Until we’re in the second season? Only time (travel) tells.
