Bajaur:
The district administration has introduced a curfew in 24 localities in Mamond Tehsil, Bajaur Tribal District, as part of a targeted surgery against terrorists.
According to an official notification issued with the approval of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa home department, the curfew will remain in force from 1 p.m. 17.00 on August 16 to 17.00 on August 21st.
The order strictly prohibits residents from stepping out of their homes or moving on roads during the curfew period. Authorities have warned that individuals violating the restrictions will be held responsible for any unfortunate incidents.

The areas of section 144 include Malangi, Suprayi, Dwaogai, Meena Suleman Khel, Khworchai, Chamyar Jor, Zagai, Gat, Agra, Ghandai, Zari, Nakhtar, Mula Killi, Bakro, Gowati, Chamyon, Larkalan, Barkalan, Ghanam Shah, Chotra, Damadola, Damadola, Damadola, Damadola, Damadola, Damadola, Sultan Khworo and Naga.
Meanwhile, the army has launched emergency construction on the Jarr bridge, which was swept away by recent floods that interrupted Bajaur from DIR.
The Army Corps of Engineers devices equipped with heavy machinery and technical equipment have been sent to Bajaur to install a new bridge. Officials said the work will continue around the clock and is expected to be completed within a few days.
Once the bridge is restored, the critical road connection between Bajaur and DIR will open again for traffic.
