Alan Cumming shudder over playing nightcrawler again in Marvel’s upcoming film, Avengers: Judgment Day.
In a recent chat with People, The traitor’s host admitted that playing the role of teleporting mutant again after decades was healed for him when, according to the 60-year-old actor, he first played the character in 2003’s X2 was a “dreadful” time.
“I just came back,” Cumming told the business. “It was amazing. It was really … in a kind of ooey, dull way, it was really healing and really nice to return to something that was a terrible experience when I did it the first time. A fantastic movie, great movie. I love the movie.”
Cumming noted that filming X2 With defamatory director Bryan Singer was “miserable” and “terrible for various reasons that I’ve talked about in the long run.”
But he explained that the experience of filming for doomsday has been quite the opposite
“It was actually really nice to go back,” Emmy The winner added. “I’m 60 years old. I didn’t think I would make stunts and play a superhero in the 60s. So it was great. And everyone was really lovely. And I got it done really fast because I couldn’t go because of the traitors when most of my scenes were shot.”
Along with cumming other X-Men Returning to Marvel’s big team-up includes Patrick Stewart, James Marsden, Kelsey Grammer, Rebecca Romijn and Ian McKellen.
