SBP is working on exchange, interest for stability: says Finmin

Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has stated that the State Bank of Pakistan is working on the exchange rate and interest rate, and the situation is expected to improve further.

The Federal Finance Minister inaugurated the job and the training exhibition in EXPO Center, Karachi, organized by the Pakistani Hindu Council.

At Expo, about 120 stalls were set up of different institutions and companies for students.

In a speech with the media, Aurangzeb expressed gratitude to the organizers and said he had the opportunity to meet the country’s future leadership here. He noted that both public and private institutions were present at the job fair, but the absence of the business sector was felt.

He said technology is the way to the future. Youth must work with their hearts and minds and always strive for expertise.

When talking about the independence day of “Marka-E-Haq,” the finance minister said that supporters of all religions in the country reminded it with great spirit.

He added that the business sector must emerge. Interest rate should not be made into one-point agenda.

There is no button for growth; Real thinking should be about sustainable growth. The role of the government is to create an activating environment.

Public-private partnerships work successfully. We are moving towards the AI world and there is no room for doubt that we should move forward.

The finance minister said that ups and downs continue to come, but talent remains unaffected. Economic stability is now achieved in the country.

The three major rating agencies are positive to Pakistan. The State Bank is working on the exchange rate and interest rate, and as stability increases, the situation will improve further.
