Indiana Fever -Star Sophie Cunningham suffered a knee injury on Sunday that beat her out of the team’s dramatic victory over Connecticut Sun, and her sister tore Wnba over it.
Cunningham was tangled with Sun Forward Bria Hartley in the second quarter. Hartley drove and made a pass to the farthest corner. When Cunningham tried to help with the defense, Hartley dropped into the lower body of fever. Cunningham immediately grabbed her legs.

Lindsey Cunningham called Wnba out and claimed that officials have been inadequately protected players.
“@Wnba Maybe you need to focus less on fine players for commenting on your poor official and more about hiring officials capable of calling a consistent game and protecting your athletes. Pathetic. Pray for you, @sophaller,” wrote Lindsey Cunningham on X.
Sophie’s mother, Paula, also called Hartley.
“Hartley is a dissatisfied player who has problems everywhere she goes; she is ordinary and plays out of control,” wrote Paula Cunningham in a side-plated post on X.
