Indiana Fever -Star Sophie Cunningham suffered a knee injury on Sunday that beat her out of the team’s dramatic victory over Connecticut Sun, and her sister tore Wnba over it.

Cunningham was tangled with Sun Forward Bria Hartley in the second quarter. Hartley drove and made a pass to the farthest corner. When Cunningham tried to help with the defense, Hartley dropped into the lower body of fever. Cunningham immediately grabbed her legs.

Lindsey Cunningham called Wnba out and claimed that officials have been inadequately protected players.

“@Wnba Maybe you need to focus less on fine players for commenting on your poor official and more about hiring officials capable of calling a consistent game and protecting your athletes. Pathetic. Pray for you, @sophaller,” wrote Lindsey Cunningham on X.

Sophie’s mother, Paula, also called Hartley.

“Hartley is a dissatisfied player who has problems everywhere she goes; she is ordinary and plays out of control,” wrote Paula Cunningham in a side-plated post on X.

WNBA, who officers, has been the season’s hot topic.

Wnba -Star Kelsey Plum Backtracks at Caitlin Clark Jab after setback: ‘I made a bad joke’

Sophie Cunningham drew the league twice to criticize officials. She received a $ 500 fine for the first time when she did it via Tiktok video and was later fined $ 1,500 for comments she made on her podcast.

“If I were a ref, I know I would mess up all the time. As if I don’t say your job is easy, but when it’s a simple call right in front of your face several times, what are you doing? What are you doing?” Said Cunningham.

“They’re just so inconsistent, just as it’s the one thing. If you’re on the other team and you want to get rid of s — out of me, cool. But let me do it against you … I think players all over the league are and new fans across the country are like ‘What’s going on with the judges?’ And I’m like ‘I don’t know.’ And you finish me $ 500 won’t do s —.

The extent of Cunningham’s injury was not immediately clear. She received more playing time when Caitlin Clark dealt with her own problems.
