Valerion has announced an improved version of its Visionmaster Max Laser projector, which delivers improved brightness and contrast as well as significantly improved black level performance and elimination of rainbow effects.
Valerion says this is the world’s first lifestyle projector, which has interchangeable lenses, gigabit ethernet and “unmatched” black level performance.
The latter improvement comes via the excellent named noir scene Dark Field Engine and promises “Inky Blacks and breathtaking dimensionality that would even make OLED screens jealous.”
Visionmaster Max: Key Functions
The new Visionmaster Max is capable of a maximum brightness of 3,500 ISO lumens and initially delivers 5,000: 1 contrast and improved black level (EBL) Contrast of 50,000: 1.
The projector is designed to throw images up to 300 inches via its RGB run -in laser, and it contains Dolby Vision, HDR10+, IMAX improved, filmmaker -mode and 24/48FPS operation. There is a low-latence (4ms) mode for games, dynamic tone mapping and 110% of the Rec.2020 color tension.
As for the noir scene Dark Field Engine, it uses three core technologies: an improved black level algorithm for real -time optimization; a sealed design for the laser engine and the lens to minimize straying light interference; And a six-blade precision opening with multi-level adjustment to check light at pixel level.
