Two Sindh government officials were suspended after it was revealed that they traveled on Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah’s plane without permission.
The officers, both Grade 17 civil servants, flew from Islamabad to Karachi with their families aboard the Chief Minister’s plane, Express News reported.
The Sindh government issued a notification confirming the suspension.
According to the notification, the suspended officials include Section Officer Syed Faraz Ali of the Prime Minister’s cadre and Wajid Shah, a protocol officer at Sindh House.
Both officers were on board the flight, which was a test flight returning to Karachi, without the necessary clearance.
Chief Secretary of Sindh Asif Haider Shah stated that the flight was conducted as a test flight and the officers had no permission to travel on it.
