According to the military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the visit began with Eid prayers, where special prayers were offered for the peace, stability and prosperity of Pakistan, as well as for the martyrs who gave their lives in defense of the country.
“Field Marshal Munir offered Eid greetings to the officers and soldiers and praised their exceptional grit, unwavering determination, operational preparedness and steadfast vigilance in the midst of foreign sponsored terrorism,” it said.

The morale and resolve of the troops and the people of Pakistan remain unshaken.”

He further reiterated that “the armed forces in close coordination with law enforcement agencies and the people of Balochistan will continue to pursue all facilitators, criminals and perpetrators of terrorism with full force.”
On arrival, the Field Marshal was received by Commander Quetta Corps and also laid a wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhadaand pays tribute to the nation’s martyrs.
