Turns out there’s a plus side to the sci-fi hit For all mankind season 5 ends on Apple TV this week. An alternate version of the Soviet Union’s space race picks up again Star City, a new drama from the same creators.

Don’t get it twisted though – this isn’t an out-and-out spinoff. There are still many similarities, such as having clear time jumps, being set in alternate versions of the past, and having a link to space travel.

But Star City is much darker in tone and often feels like you’re watching a spy thriller… with astronauts and a lot of physics. So when is the double premiere of Star City episodes 1-2 released on Apple TV?
