Masters of the Universe is out now in theaters worldwide — and this new Amazon movie has a post-credits scene that will delight fans of the sci-fi fantasy series.
The short scene teases a long-awaited live-action film starring one of the Mattel-owned property’s perennially popular characters. And if that wasn’t enough to get tongues wagging among the He-Man-fronted franchise’s fanbase, the film’s director Travis Knight “already has ideas” about what story he wants to tell about said character.

So who is the person being teased in the post-credits scene of one of 2026’s new movies? It will be She-Ra, also known as the long-lost twin sister of Adam/He-Man.
We don’t see her face in said scene, nor is anyone credited to play her. British actress Lauren Saliu has confirmed (via Instagram) that she portrayed the Eternal Princess, although it’s unclear if she’ll officially play She-Ra in the future or is just a stand-in for this clip.
Real name Adora, she possesses the same superhuman abilities as her siblings. She-Ra also wields her own mystical blade called the Sword of Protection and has an animal companion – Spirit the horse – who, like He-Man’s Cringer/Battle-Cat, transforms into a battle-ready creature called Swift Wind when Adora becomes She-Ra.
However, unlike her fellow Eternian, She-Ra has never appeared, let alone starred, in a live-action film. Until now, she has only appeared in two animated series: the 1985s She-Ra: Princess of Power and more recently the incredibly well-received TV anime She-Ra and the Princesses of Powerwhich ran on Netflix for five seasons between 2018 and 2020.
Her cameo in Masters of the Universe‘s end-credits scene is a defining moment, then, because it suggests that She-Ra could not only make her live-action debut in time, but also appear on the big screen for the very first time.
Whether she wants to, however, depends Masters of the Universe‘s performance at the global box office. Do well enough, or even exceed expectations, and Amazon MGM Studios would be foolish not to greenlight a sequel starring He-Man and She-Ra, or even a standalone Adora-led adventure.
Regardless of which of these options gets the green light, Knight has a vision for the kind of story involving She-Ra that he wants to tell. However, he is also fully aware that if Masters of the Universe fails to catch on, an Adora-led film may never be made – therefore, she was not part of this film’s ensemble, and a famous actor was not officially cast to play her in this brief appearance.
“With every movie I’ve ever made, I’ve always imagined where the characters go outside the confines of the movie,” Knight shared. “You want to tell a standalone story, and I think we’ve done that with this film, but there are things in the broader mythology that didn’t fit into that, and the She-Ra character was one of them.
“Adora is also a character that carries a lot of weight with her,” Knight continued. “A lot of people, myself included, love that character, so we wanted to give a little nod to where it was [a She-Ra movie] could go if we were given the opportunity to tell more stories.
“I would love to see her come to life on the big screen and I have ideas about how that would go,” he added. “But if we never got a chance to do that, we’ve told a standalone story that works here.”
